At Kick Ups Academy, we are always looking for passionate, enthusiastic and reliable football coaches to join our growing team.
Our coaches play an important role in developing children both as footballers and as individuals. We believe football should be enjoyable, challenging and rewarding, while helping players build confidence, discipline, teamwork and a genuine love for the game.
We currently have opportunities for Academy Coaches and Head Coaches to join our team.
ACADEMY COACH
Our Academy Coaches deliver football sessions across our Development Centres, weekly classes, camps and other KUA programmes.
What we expect:
• Deliver fun, engaging and structured football sessions
• Develop players’ technical ability and confidence
• Coach players of different ages and abilities
• Plan and deliver appropriate drills, games and activities
• Encourage teamwork, discipline and positive behaviour
• Build strong relationships with players
• Create a safe, positive and enjoyable environment
• Be reliable, punctual and professional
• Represent Kick Ups Academy positively at all times
HEAD COACH – FOOTBALL TEAMS
Our Head Coaches are responsible for managing one of our competitive football teams competing in the Harrow Youth Football League.
What we expect:
• Plan and deliver weekly team training sessions
• Manage the team during weekly league fixtures
• Select and organise players for matchdays
• Develop players technically, tactically and physically
• Prepare the team for upcoming fixtures
• Provide players with clear feedback and support
• Develop teamwork, discipline, confidence and sportsmanship
• Communicate effectively with parents and players
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and professionalism
• Work closely with Kick Ups Academy to support each player’s development
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for coaches who are passionate about football and enjoy working with children. You should be reliable, enthusiastic, professional and committed to helping young players improve.
Previous coaching experience is preferred, but qualifications are not essential for all positions. The most important qualities are a positive attitude, strong communication skills and a genuine passion for developing children through football.
